Medical Clinic Services

What is the difference between Square Care's clinic and a hospital?

Our clinic primarily focuses on outpatient care, where patients visit for consultations, treatments, non-urgent medical needs, and minor procedures but do not stay overnight. A hospital is equipped to handle more severe medical conditions, surgeries, and emergencies and has in-patient facilities for overnight stays. For emergencies like sudden chest pain or uncontrollable bleeding, you should visit the nearest hospital or call 9-1-1.

How can I register as a new patient with a family doctor?

Square Care Medical Centre is currently accepting new patients. To register, you can contact our office by phone at +1 (905) 566-4567 or visit us in person, and our staff will guide you through the process.

Do you have both male and female doctors available?

Yes, our team includes both male and female doctors, and you can specify your preference when booking an appointment.

Do I need an appointment to visit the clinic?

While we do accommodate walk-in patients for non-urgent medical care, we recommend calling ahead or scheduling an appointment to reduce your wait time. If you need to see a doctor as soon as possible, please visit our walk-in clinic page.

When should I use the walk-in clinic?

Our walk-in clinic is ideal for addressing non-urgent health issues that you would typically handle with a family doctor, such as minor illnesses and injuries. It provides a convenient option when you cannot get a same-day appointment with your regular physician.

What are the benefits of your on-site medical lab?

Having an on-site lab allows us to expedite the testing process, enabling you to receive your results more quickly for a timely diagnosis. This integrated approach means you can have your concerns addressed, get tested, and receive a treatment plan all in one convenient location.
